Patriotism is alive after protest

Dear Editor:

bunch of people? We love and cherish our personal liberties so much that in just a short time thousands across the country looked for a certain fast-food chain and then willingly stood in line for hours just to order glorya sandwich!

They came to patronize the owner and stand with him in protest because he was vilified after expressing his own personal convictions during a radio interview. He was also denied permission to open another location in Chicago by the city’s mayor.

It is in our very genes to be so insulted; and to have anyone’s liberty to be thus violated is beyond the pale. This unbelievably quick response among thousands is a testimony to what Americans hold dear; and to waste no time nor trouble to let the “establishment” know.

I’m happy to say that patriotism is alive and well in America, and I believe those long lines will be repeated in November.
