Tiffany S. Robinson, 22, of Chicago, was charged with theft June 20 after reportedly stealing money and merchandise from Sears at Chicago Ridge Mall, where she was an employee, police said.

Thomas R. Siemeck, 44, of Hickory Hills, was charged with possession of drug equipment, transportation of open alcohol and disobeying a traffic signal June 22 following a stop in the 9200 block of Roberts Road, police said.

Oak Lawn

Catalytic convertors were reported stolen June 15 from a car in the 9600 block of Mason Avenue and a vehicle in the 9300 block of Sproat Avenue.

Groceries valued at approximately $115 were reported stolen June 17 from Jewel-Osco, 8801 S. Ridgeland Ave. A store security guard told police that a man and two children entered the store, loaded a cart with groceries and left without paying.

A vacuum valued at $400 was reported stolen June 14 from Target, 4120 W. 95th St. Police later learned that the Evanston Police Department had in custody Meeghan E. Doherty-Alkaisari, 36, of Chicago, who they said admitted on June 18 to stealing a vacuum from the Oak Lawn Target, police said.

Damage estimated at $1,500 was done June 19 to a car in the 9600 block of Ridgeland Avenue. Witnesses told police that a man was seen leaving the apartment parking lot on a 10-speed bike after damaging the windows of the car.

Kenneth J. Rasussen, 55, and Christopher H. Berg, 55, both of Oak Lawn, were charged with battery June 19 after a disturbance in the 9800 block of 54th Avenue, police said.

An ATV was reported stolen June 19 or 20 from a garage in the 6700 block of 87th Place.

Two laptop computers, cash, credit cards and jewelry valued at approximately $2,200 were stolen June 20 from an apartment in the 9600 block of Ridgeland Avenue.

Robert C. Martin, 64, of Dolton, was charged with assault June 20 after an incident at Manor Care, 6300 W. 95th St., police said.

Teymour Chehreh-Tab, 61, of Oak Lawn, was charged with retail theft June 20 after allegedly stealing goods from Fairplay Foods, 8700 S. Cicero Ave., police said.

A wallet was reported stolen June 21 from the purse of a customer at Jewel-Osco, 4650 W. 103rd St., police said. The woman told police she was followed through the store by man who got his foot stuck in her shopping cart. The woman’s husband assisted the man. At that time, another woman showed up. The alleged victim realized that the woman had been standing behind her the entire time her husband was helping the man, police said. The alleged victim realized her wallet was missing when she was in the cashier lane, police said.

A large amount of alcohol was reported stolen June 22 from Walgreens, 10639 S. Cicero Ave. Store surveillance video showed a man and woman enter the store and fill bags with multiple bottles of alcohol. The couple was seen entering an older, light blue convertible that headed east on 106th Street.

Malachy M. Farrell, 34, of Oak Lawn, was charged with keeping a disorderly house June 22 following a report of a noise disturbance, police said.

Palos Hills

Daniel Torres, 25, of Palos Hills, was charged with driving on a revoked license June 18 after a stop in the 7800 block of 103rd Street, police said.

Police received deceptive practice reports June 19 that involved giving money to someone who identified himself as a stranded motorist who needed money. Both victims said the alleged stranded motorist assured them that he would refund the money once he got home. The money was never refunded.

Worth

Johnnie R. Carey Jr., 45, of Worth, was charged with driving on a suspended license and failure to signal June 16 after a stop in the 10400 block of Southwest Highway, police said.
