Five people were injured in a four-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Palos Hills.
The accident occurred at 10:34 a.m. April 21 at the intersection of 107th Street and LaGrange Road, near the Dan McMahon Woods forest preserve, said North Palos Fire Protection District Chief Dan Russell. A car behind three others in the left turning lane of northbound La Grange rear-ended the car in front of it, causing a chain reaction, Russell said.
Five people, one with serious injuries and four with minor injuries, were transported to area hospitals, Russell said. One person was taken to Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights and four went to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
