Two Oak Lawn residents were both charged with three counts of retail theft after one of them allegedly rang up false transactions for the other while working at a department store in the Chicago Ridge Mall.
Bridget Carroll, 22, and Michael Carroll, 26, were arrested on Dec. 22. Bridget reportedly rang up three transactions worth a collective $1,656 between Dec. 19 to Dec. 19, and did not charge Michael the full amount for the merchandise.
A 19-year-old man was charged with retail theft after he allegedly took clothing worth $202 from a store at the Chicago Ridge Mall.
