A 33-year-old man was charged with criminal trespass, disobeying a railroad gate and soliciting without a permit after he allegedly climbed over a stopped train in the 2600 block of 87th Street.
Curley D. King, of Chicago, was arrested at 8:55 p.m. Nov. 21. He was asking customers for change, and when told to leave threw the bicycle he was riding over a train that was stopped on tracks adjacent to the gas station. Curley climbed up and over the stopped train, police said.
A 35-year-old man was charged with theft after he allegedly cashed a fake check at a business in the 3200 block of 95th Street.
Midian Shawar, of Chicago, was transported to the Evergreen Park Police Department after being arrested by Melrose Park Police for an unrelated offense Nov. 18. Shawar reportedly cashed a fake check for $6,000 on June 9.
A 21-year-old man was reportedly charged with keeping a disorderly house and disturbing the peace after he allegedly held a loud party at a home in the 9500 block of Campbell Avenue.
Jacob Y. Abdulwahid-Klocek, of Evergreen Park, was arrested at 2:53 a.m. Nov. 18.
A 22-year-old man was charged with burglary to a motor vehicle after he allegedly took a black leather coat and a pair of gym shoes from a car in the 9500 block of Campbell Avenue.
Artaveis Bowens, of Chicago, was arrested at 5:03 p.m. Nov. 17. A woman reportedly saw him rummaging through the trunk of her car. He was stopped in the 9500 block of Claremont Avenue, police said.
