Loretta Malanowski

Loretta Malanowski, 86, née Augustyniak, of Oak Lawn, died Aug. 24 at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights. Visitation was held Aug. 27 at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home in Palos Hills. A funeral mass was held Aug. 28 at St. Louis de Montfort Church in Oak Lawn. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

Mrs. Malanowski is survived by her brother, Donald Augustyniak; and her sister, Virginia Derdzinski.

Mrs. Malanowski was born in Chicago. She worked as a secretary.

Jack M. Casey

Jack M. Casey, 76, of Worth, died Aug. 10 at home. A memorial gathering will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 18 at Schmaedeke Funeral Home, 10701 S. Harlem Ave. in Worth. Interment will be private.

Mr. Casey is survived by his sons, Richard and Ronald; and three grandchildren.

Mr. Casey was born in Chicago. He worked as an electrician.

Anna B. Janutis

Anna B. Janutis, née Babich, of Oak Lawn, died Aug. 8 at Advocate Christ Medical Center. Visitation was held Aug. 11 at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home in Palos Hills. A funeral Mass was held Aug. 12 at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church in Oak Lawn. Interment was at St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago.

Mrs. Janutis is survived by her son, Raymond; her daughters, Regina Small and Rita Chavarria; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Janutis was born in Chicago and worked in the gasoline industry.

Joseph P. Konkol

Joseph P. Konkol, 70, of Reddick (Kankakee County), formerly of Oak Lawn, died Aug. 7 at home. Visitation and a funeral service were held Aug. 10 at Colonial Chapel in Orland Park. Interment was private.

Mr. Konkol is survived by his wife, Judith; his son, James; his daughter, Jeannette Lambrigger; his brothers, Bob, Frank, Michael, and Vern; his sisters, Veronica and Florence; and six grandchildren.

Mr. Konkol was born in Chicago. He worked as a sheet metal fabricator.
