Julius J. Kazunas

Julius J. Kazunas, 85, of Palos Hills, died Aug. 26 at home. Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 31 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Highway in Palos Hills. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 8245 W. 111th St. in Palos Hills. Interment will be at St. Casimir Cemetery, 4401 W. 111th St. in Chicago.

 Mr. Kazunas is survived by his daughters. Jane Scott and Kattalina Kazunas; and two grandchildren.

Mr. Kazunas was born in Chicago. He worked as a postal worker. He was an avid supporter of the Sacred Heart Parish Food Pantry. In lieu of flowers, family members are asking for donations to the Disabled American Veterans fund at dav.org.

Loretta Malanowski

Loretta Malanowski, 86, née Augustyniak, of Oak Lawn, died Aug. 24 at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights. Visitation was held Aug. 27 at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home in Palos Hills. A funeral mass was held Aug. 28 at St. Louis de Montfort Church in Oak Lawn. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

Mrs. Malanowski is survived by her brother, Donald Augustyniak; and her sister, Virginia Derdzinski.

Mrs. Malanowski was born in Chicago. She worked as a secretary.

Jack M. Casey

Jack M. Casey, 76, of Worth, died Aug. 10 at home. A memorial gathering will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 18 at Schmaedeke Funeral Home, 10701 S. Harlem Ave. in Worth. Interment will be private.

Mr. Casey is survived by his sons, Richard and Ronald; and three grandchildren.

Mr. Casey was born in Chicago. He worked as an electrician.

Anna B. Janutis

Anna B. Janutis, née Babich, of Oak Lawn, died Aug. 8 at Advocate Christ Medical Center. Visitation was held Aug. 11 at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home in Palos Hills. A funeral Mass was held Aug. 12 at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church in Oak Lawn. Interment was at St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago.

Mrs. Janutis is survived by her son, Raymond; her daughters, Regina Small and Rita Chavarria; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Janutis was born in Chicago and worked in the gasoline industry.
