Ave Maria Green
  Ave Maria Green, 83, née Hayes, of Oak Lawn, died April 2. Visitation was held April 5 at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home in Oak Lawn. A funeral Mass was held April 6 at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church in Oak Lawn. Interment was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Worth.
  Mrs. Green is survived by her sons, Christopher, John, Gavin and Hugh; her daughter, Ave Maria; and 18 grandchildren.
  Mrs. Green was a retired Chicago Public Schools teacher. She was also a parish show director and Eucharistic minister at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church in Oak Lawn.

Robert J. Hennessy
  Robert J. Hennessy, 72, of Oak Lawn, died April 1. Visitation was held April 4 at Zimmerman & Sandeman Funeral Home in Oak Lawn. A funeral Mass was held April 5 at St. Germaine Catholic Church in Oak Lawn. Interment was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Worth.
  Mr. Hennessy is survived by his wife, Judi; his daughters, Lisa Hennessy, Amy Stack, and Sara Carroll; his sons, Paul and Todd; his sisters, Rose O’Doherty and Betty Jelinek; his brother, William; and seven grandchildren.
  Mr. Hennessy was born in Evergreen Park. He was a retired electrician, and the commander of the Johnson Phelps VFW Post 5220 in Oak Lawn.

Edward F. Meyer
  Edward F. Meyer, 103, of Worth, died April 4 at Manor Care West in Palos Heights. Visitation was held April 8 at Schmaedeke Funeral Home in Worth. A funeral Mass was held April 9 at Palos Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment was at Concordia Cemetery in Forest Park.
  Mr. Meyer is survived by his son, George; his daughter, Eleanore Huber; and one grandchild.
  Mr. Meyer was born in Chicago. He worked as a Chicago Transit Authority bus driver, and was a member of Palos Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Ruth B. McGinnis  Ruth B. McGinnis, née Babbitt, 102, of Palos Park, formerly of Springville, Calif., beloved wife of the late Colonel V.W. McGinnis U.S. Army, loving mother of the late Wayne and the late Sonya (Dan) Snyder, devoted grandmother of three, cherished great grandmother of four, proud great-great-grandmother of 10.
  Visitation was held Tuesday, April 9, at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Lying in state was held Wednesday at Palos Park Presbyterian Community Church, 12312 S. 88th Ave., Palos Park from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery in Porterville, Calif.

Douglas A. Persson
  Douglas A. Persson, 46, died March 26. A memorial service was held April 6 at Trinity Evangelical Covenant Church in Oak Lawn.
  Mr. Persson is survived by his father, Harry; his mother, Grace; and his sisters, Laurie Rosengren and Julie Ferrino.
  Mr. Persson was born in Chicago. He was a real estate inspector.

Willard “Terry” Wilson
  Willard “Terry” Wilson, 78, of Worth, died April 5 at home. A memorial visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 19 at the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th St. in Crestwood. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 19 at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
  Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Lorie; his sons, Tom and James; his daughters, Karen Wilson and Barb Huiner; his brother, Ed; and nine grandchildren.
  Mr. Wilson was born in Chicago. He worked as a salesman in the food industry.
