At 11:36 p.m. Dec. 15, a fight was reported in the parking lot near the emergency room at 94th Street and Kilbourn Avenue. Police reportedly followed a blood trail to the emergency room, and learned two brothers were being treated for knife wounds. One brother, a 30-year-old Burbank man, was stabbed in the head and torso. The second brother, a 20-year-old Chicago Ridge man, was stabbed in the face and back. Both men were admitted to the hospital in serious condition but have been released, police said.
The incident reportedly started earlier in the day at a family member's home in Chicago Ridge, and Yasin allegedly followed the men to the parking lot.
Yasin fled the scene in a 1996 red Mercedes Benz, which was found in a parking lot in Dearborn, Mich. Yasin is in custody in Dearborn, police said. His bond is $50,000; and an extradition hearing will be held on Tuesday. If he is extradited, Oak Lawn police will bring him back to Illinois, police said.
