Funds will go toward the rehabilitation costs of Tiffani Ntanos, who sustained a spinal cord injury last June 9 when she dove off a boat into the Kankakee River and struck her head on the river bottom. Ntanos had fractured her C5 and C6 vertebrae and underwent surgery, and had to relearn basic functions such as how to sit, balance and feed herself.
